Last week, the fabulous Christos and Cameron of LA’s beloved Decades Vintage, stopped by the Decades for Rent the Runway pop up shop in Soho’s Openhouse Gallery. Rent the Runway’s own Fashion Director, Lucy Sykes Rellie stopped by for fun conversation and of course, a Skinnygirl cocktail (it seems they’ve expanded far far beyond just margaritas these days!).

Send the Trend gets dolled up at tenoverten

What pretty phalanges! Lucky Magazine’s Elana Fishman and Lauren Sherman kept their tips minty fresh on Wednesday night with Send the Trend at TenOverTen. Online and print editors from People, Marie Claire, Seventeen, the Daily Front Row among others put up their feet, threw back some champers and caught up with one another. Conversation remained heavy with topics ranging from Birthday Cake Oreos (yes, they do exist!) to is Why Men Love Bitches a book worth reading (the verdict: undecided). Overall, an excellent time!

Joy Gryson appears on Opensky

We had such a fun time cutting loose a couple of weeks ago with Joy Gryson and the lovely teamfrom Opensky. It’s always great to have so many people you adore in one room! On a recent Thursday afternoon, we gathered at Lela Rose‘s apartment with Lucy Sykes Rellie and the rest of the Rent the Runway team to take a tour of Lela’s expansive closet!

The end result? This awesome video.

Fashion Week: Chris Benz

Chris Benz‘s Fall/Winter 2012 presentation provided us with some serious eye candy. The longer we stared at the models, the more we discovered. From the sky-high wigs to the claw-style gloves, the looks did not miss a beat. Maybe it was all the hairspray fumes, but as the music from a bygone era played, it was hard not to transport to a land resembling a tripped-out version of the Valley of the Dolls.
